Thread: Fifth Day of Winter - How are your pets handling the cooler weather !

We havent had real winter yet in WA. But cooler nights for sure... means Hooch is sticking to son's bed and no more walking around the house at night (which I am loving because I can sleep without being paranoid that someone is eating my house down). Also harder to get him out in the morning to do wee. He refuses to go out and when he has got to.. he is standing on the grass with 3 legs only (keeps changing them while keeping one up at all times).

It's flooded where i live, thankfully my pets are indoor pets.
No one loves you like your dog does.

Oskar likes snuggling against us and curls himself up to sleep, but since he sleeps inside, I really don't think it is making a huge difference so far. I want to buy him a coat for winter, but my boyfriend only thinks it will make him look like a nancy boy lol.

LMAO, Hooch sounds so funny, changing one leg up all the time, that got a lol out of me....we wouldn't want to get our dainty paws wet now!! Oskar is very much the same.

OM - I got him a coat/overalls - soooo cute. As soon as I put it on him he collapses and refuses to walk, when I say shhhtt (AKA cat outside run run runnnn),, he limps out in a hurry. I thought he would like it!!

ah winter! Bernie is now a different colour, his new coat that comes just for winter is a different marking to his summer. He no longer has his black saddle, he's just got black patches on his sides, the rest is very red, its gorgeous like this.

Pohm takes ages to get her arse off the ground to leave for walkies at 6am, but once out, she's straight in the lake with bernie, they dont seem to realise that the water has frozen on their coats when they get out at all. Makes me shiver to see it though!

And Bernie has moved to his winter bed, instead of laying on stone at my feet of a evening, he wants cushion these days. Such a pussy.

We still go walkies every day but not as early.
Then ball games, chase and hunting after.
Summer was great with two mad play sessions a day
and sleeping in between. Not too much sleeping now.
