You can't see the tree damage in this one but you can see what's left of his bed & the kids pool tent in there too lol!!! That 'landscaping' photo is hilarious lol!!!

When it stops raining I need to go and fill in the crater my girls have left next to the BBQ. Its about 2 mts square and half a meter deep. Not sure where they were going or what they they were after.

Cutting the damaged plastic pipe into 30mm lengths will help with boredom but no guarantee it will stop the digging.

You have got yourself a very determined dog there, BG. No idea what to suggest. Fortunately Banjo only goes for small stuff to chew.

But I think Kuri's photo should win the prize for 'naughty dogs of the month'! That really had me laughing out loud.

Had more time to think of a fix for you. You have to replace the pipes anyway so there will be a mess. When you put the new pipes in , put down a layer of chicken mesh just under the surface, over the pipes. Sprinklers should be pop ups and ensure the chicken mesh goes around the heads but does not stop them popping up.

Other than that you will need to use steel pipes with the sprinklers on risers 1.8meters high so they can't be reached.

Or alternatively, just forget all about a garden for the next few years.

I know how you feel bunny! But isn't Hooch just the most adorable thing ever!!!! All our irrigation pipes and sprinklers are ripped up out of the ground, the yard is FULL of holes (you would break both ankles if you ran through it), all our plants are destroyed (ferns make the best beds apparently) and there is no grass left at all. Our house is weatherboard and I got home yesterday to find a chunk of chewed weatherboard strangely painted the same colour as the house.. needless to say it went straight in the bin before the OH saw it and i'm just about to go out with the vix and find where they got it from! I make sure the kongs are always full, there are always at least 3 bones in the yard (in case someone gets greedy and takes 2) and there are about 5 pressed rawhide things scattered through the yard but clearly everything else is much more fun to eat!

p.s Look how I found the outside table yesterday! Clearly Meika has decided she'd rather be a cat...
