I like Dora (not the explorer).
If we had of gotten a female as a second dog, they would have been Duke and Dora, and I think that sounds cool.

Jim bob and Elly May?? LMAO

My old dog was Attila, after the Hun.

I like Russian names as well. How about Natasha or Katerina, Anastasia? I do like Nikita as well, even though that is a Russian name, I love it from the Elton John song.

For some reason French and famous and big, like an opera singer comes to mind. Or an Opera Character

Like Carmen, Nellie (not that she was French), Edith (Piaf - not an opera singer but French), Margueritte (French opera singer), Madelene (naughty school girl character).

I also think Nancy Wake was bold and spent a lot of time in France - though she was not French.

Kind of fond of Mireille Guiliano - who wrote "french women don't get fat" - I reckon that's because there are no elevators or escalators in Paris and you have to climb up and down about 16 different sets of stairs to catch trains from A to B.

Love 'Dolly'; you've got my vote there.

    Also 'Peggy Sue'

If I ever had a male, he'd be called Frank, George or Neville. Old school 'nerdy' names suit male dogs really well - and they mess with people's heads, too - especially at the Vets when you call to make an appointment for them! "I want to book Frank in to see the Doc"... "Huh???" Classic. But them, I'm easy to please!
