I swear by Comfortis but if you try it just watch that your dog can handle it. It can make some dogs sick. Mojo gets the heartworm needle and then we use Drontal for intestinal worms. So far this combo has work really well for us. We struggled with fleas on my last dog and in the soil at home. Since the Comfortis was used we have not had A SINGLE FLEA !!!!

I use revolution for fleas and heart worm - it's a spot on that's water proof inside 2 hours - fantastic. Which reminds me, she needs to have some on. And a 6 pack of that from the vet comes with canex intestinal wormers - which are huge tablets that I have to hide inside sardines to get her to eat them. I swear the chews are much easier.

I think it's good to change from time to time, we started on front line. But so far the revolution has worked fine. If you venture into tick country you need something else as well.

I had high hopes for Comfortis, but it doesn't seem to be working as well as I'd hoped. There is a chance that Banjo puked the second lot out, because the second month it did absolutely nothing. We're up to the 3rd dose now and she isn't scratching much but I still find fleas now and then. So I'm not sold yet... It may also be that the frosts have killed most of them off. The worst breeding spot is under the house...

We pretty much gave Oskar his second dose a lot earlier than we were supposed to, because he was still scratching and we were still finding fleas, so maybe give Banjo yet another dose and make sure she swallows it. It will work lol

Mojo spewed his 2nd tablet up aswell.

I always make sure he gets dinner just after the tablet now and he's been fine since. It's the same for me and the pain killers i take every day. No food in the belly and i get really crook.
Must be some strong stuff in there if it makes all these dogs crook....but it works for us.

I will definitely make sure I give it to him right after dinner. Great advice!

I think Sean said - tablet then dinner. Ie much less likely to spit or upchuck if dinner comes straight away after.
