    Yes I know how it feels leaving them behind, but isn't it great when you have the vet nurses making a fuss over them and the dogs being happy to go back........That is why I like our new vet now, Katy after all the time she has spent there is just happy to go and visit with her new friends...Love it. I am glad you have a place like that too

    Well he's home now........ i'm glad for that but i'm also pissed off big time at him and as cruel as it sounds he's just recieved the biggest ass kicking (i didnt kick him) he's ever had.

    I had my old mate neighbour come over as soon as we pulled in the driveway so i left him in the back of the 4x4 so he wouldnt try to jump up or go silly...all good so i eventually lifted him down. Within a minute one of the little kids who lives down the road came over to see how he was and Mojo was his usual happy self and i held him by his chain so he would go to crazy.

    He's patting Mojo and all was fine.........then suddenly Mojo lunges up at his face and tries to bark/growl/bite him !!!!!

    Luckily i ripped him back just in time. I've never been so shocked and angry at one of my own dogs before and he got a couple of good slaps over the top of his head. Hard enough to teach him not to do it again and put the fear of god in him. Maybe not the correct way to discipline , maybe it was. Dunno. Either way he cant be doing that shit whether he's sore or not. Luckily the little kids a tuff nut and wasnt too fased but it scared him , me and my neighbour at the same time. I told the misses when she got home and she then told me he actually did somthing similar to this same kids bigger brother a few days ago and she was tottally shocked. So i'm thinking we now have a issue with this.

    It's weird though......he welcomed the kid, let him pat him and about 30 seconds later wants to bite them.

    I'm so dissapointed it's not funny and here i am ment to be spoiling him rotten but instead i'm really pissed off with him. Makes me feel like shit. I watched him like a hawk with my daughter but he's letting her climb in his crate and give him cuddles without blinking a eye just like usual. Still i cant trust him 100% now and that makes me sad.
    I really hope it's all to do with the sore leg.
    As far as the leg goes he's on antibiotics, legs all wrapped up and stitched to him at the very top. We have a whole checklist of things to do and watch for and he's going to be very quiet for the next few days. As long as theres no major leaks from the drainage tubes and the bandage dosnt bother him too much it stays on for atleast 7 days preferably 10 then once it's of if theres no swelling thats it otherwise it needs more pressur banmdaging for a while but we'll deal with that if it happens down the track.

    For now he's got some major sucking up to do as i'm not happy with him at all. So much for always praising him for been great around kids.....thats out the window now. DAM !!

    Sean.....Just remember he has just had an anesthetic and might not be 100%...Same as some people go a bit off with certain meds on board..Real prim and proper old ladies can tell you to F*** off or try to undress themselves in public.

    Give him some time to re-group and get the drugs out of his system, he has had a full on day.......Give him a big hug from us {{{{{{{Mojo}}}}}}

    Get well soon Mojo, give him some quiet and some peace

    Don't worry Sean, and don't be too hard on the poor bugger, he's had a rough day, and like Newfsie said, Mojo may still be feeling the effects of the anesthia (however you spell it). Also he might have had a moment of pain which might have caused him to lash out. He will more than likely be back to himself in a few days. Might just have to watch your munchkins around Mojo until he recovers a bit more.

    Thanks guys......the more i look at the 2nd picture i can see in his eyes he's not himself.

    He's now snooring at the end of my bed. Lying on a pile of the wifes flash big pillows that i hate having on the bed. She usually cracks it when he lies on them but tonight she dosnt care. She must be sick !! feels a bit sorry for him too. I'm now feeling like a arsehole for smacking him but he cant be doing that stuff. I just hope he heals well and it never happnes again.

    He's pooping, peeing and eating really well so i'm very pleased with that.

    So glad the Mojo is home safe and well. Agree with the others above, give him a bit of time, and Oskars comment was very valid, keep an eye on your littlies while hes not feeling the best, just not worth the risk.
    Loved the pics, thank you Sean, he really is a stunning looking boy, and his name suits him so well, he just looks like a Mojo....!
