Yeah that white tip flummoxed me too - normally a Beagle / Fox Hound trait... whatever makeup this doglet is, one, no, two things are certain... 1. He's a Dog, and 2. He's 100% GORGEOUS!!!!

I've jsut been dribbling over his photos again (he is just beautiful)... and I wanna have a second guess... Rottie (eyes and ears) X Shepherd (coat and saddle) X Beagle (build, white tip and socks)

Hi everyone.. sorry fell asleep! lol
    SO Hooch is:
Rottweiler cross Bullmastiff with abit of Basenji (whaaaa? didnt know that breed existed) and 11% of Basset hound.
We thought he could be many things,.. never a Rottweiler!!
He is scared of his squeaky rubber chicken, he only barks when he sees his own reflection in the window at night which freaks him out, he doesnt use his teeth for anything bitey and he is on the lazy side of things.
    Weird... lol
I'd love to know what that Newfie's DNA came back as??
Thank you for all the guesses, that was fun

yup, a bloke i know from the dog beach had his dog dna tested, the results were just stupid, i certainly wouldn't put too much weight on whatever result they come back with from my experience

what would be really interesting is to take a pure bred dog(with papers to prove it) and get it dna tested and see what comes back

Well it would be interesting if I ran another DNA test, just call the dog a different name and see if they come back the same.... lol I just dont have spare $90 lying around.

That's really interesting bunny, I think Hooch does have some basset colouring, think they're black/brown/white ...

Did you do that DNA test through the vet or did you buy a test kit ?? Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed that
