Default Katy is home.....hopefully the final vet visit for a while

Well at least we know the new vet quite well now

Katy happily walked in for her appointment....greeted everyone like they were old friends. Nice to see that everyone was so friendly and that she was so happy.

She had her x-rays to check her TPLO..it looks great

She had her Spay and gastropexy. Vet said she now knows why she prefers small younger dogs, but it went extremely well.

Katy came home and has slept, slept some more and slept......

Her ado x-ray showed she had another pebble in her rectum......it was pooped out today.

Nothing was done because it was so far and close to the end

We are thinking the pebbles might have been from the ones near the Bar-B-Q..maybe they had fat on them. Anyway it has been moved onto a concrete area. And the pebbles have been hot-washed and given a horrible smell.

She is a bit sad today, but home.........I have taken the week off work to keep an eye on her.

Phewwwwwww, maybe it is all over now

    LOL and another $1000.00 lighter

Glad to read such a positive outcome for Katy-Bear! And a nice outcome for the pooped pebble too! Better out than in as my Nanna used to say!

Big hugs for Miss Katy Bear, it's so nice to hear she is on the mend!

Had to laugh, though, Newfs... Big dog, small pebble and all that....

Oh what great news that your beautiful girl is home and surgery was successful and the pebble is out ... my dad used to also say "better out than in" Pinkest, usually after he asked me to pull his finger ...

Wishing you an enjoyable week home with your girl Newfsie ... Hoping the insurance company keeps coughing up the $$$ ...

Great outcome in more than one way. Have just heard from my Sister that her little dog Chichi is not doing very well and is at the Vet. Very old, I am not looking forward to her next call due soon. Oh how we love and depend on our doggies.
I am happy that your Katy has come out with flying colours. It is always a worry. Money, what money?
