    Default What Next God Dam

ok so yesterday I heard one of the pups scream out..
I picked it up and it looked fine.
An hour later I cleaned all their bedding out once again
and notice the puppy that screamed his tail looks weird..
I have heard that kinked / fused / knotted is common in this breed
so I thought Oh great we got a puppy with a deformed tail..
Anyway, I was tossing and turning all night last night and this morning
I decided to take him to the vet because I looked back on all my puppy pics
I have taken and I am 100% sure non had a weird tail..
Anyway vet has confirmed the tail is fractured apparently it's basically broken
and could heal in time not 100% sure..
My vet has written up a report for the new owner saying that it is not genetic
it is fractured/broken and an accident caused by mum..

So if anyone knows someone that is looking for a Pet DDB he will be
cheaper than our asking price for the other puppies..Limited Registration
He is such a beautiful looking boy...
I can post up a picture of him for anyone interested..

And I just wonder how much more bad luck I can get, seriously I'm done....

Poor baby , I'm more worried about his pain level and it being knocked around further by boisterous growing Dogue youngsters than the money/limited register. How badly fractured is it and how far up/down the actual dock of the tail?

oh and any excuse for a pic is a good one

I have him inside with me and put him on mum for feeds then bring him back in
    incase it is knocked about..
It's about 2cm out from the base..
The vet said it wont be a problem at all for the dog.
The rest of the tail wont die or anything and cause no trouble.
My vet gave him a shot for the pain but he is a pretty tough dog.
He is 2 weeks and 3 days and weighs 2.2kilo..I will upload a pic in a sec for you..
    He truly is adorable

Oh God LL, no more pictures of those ugly ugly puppies. Only joking - I have to say that to make me not PM you and put down a deposit. How beautiful is that first photo? And the second - just devine as well.

I am seriously sad as this boy really is beautiful..
As the vet said his tail could be 100% ok and if not
he will have a crease in it... Poor little fella

I had a baby mouse with a kink in its tail. Read it was fairly common. But it was only a mouse!

He is absolutely gorgeous though! I am assuming you would not be able to find homes wanting to show for all your pups anyway? But I can understand your dissapointment with him being such a stunner...
