Did I read this correctly that they didn't actually make a diagnosis of what made her so sick?

Hope she is well on the way to recovery now anyway.

Katy is home again...picked her up from the Vets and had a long chat..Desexing is put off till whenever she is 100%, she gave us a script for Stemetil (anti nausea). Katy was happier and whined at the vets, which i think was good. They cannot believe how easy she is to walk, so she had lots of walk during the day as everyone took her for a walk.
She has some results back......Liver fine, negative blood culture, U&E's normal, HB good, general bloods good, glucose levels was a little low but she had not eaten for two days. Neutrophils were just outside the norm ( ?inflammation somewhere). We are still waiting for all the pancreatic enzymes and thyroid panel...They went a long way away, so will be here tomorrow.
Still not out of the woods...but at least she has stopped panting and pacing.........Thank you for caring everyone

Fingers and paws crossed for more good test results tomorrow !!

I bet she's glad to be home with the rest of the pack. How do the other's react when one of them is missing ??

Annabelle gets cross when she comes back...She struts a bit, like "remember i am the one"...Katy just bows her head and all is good...I think Annabelle thinks we are taking katy for lovely rides in the jeep without her.

For the rest, I think they just sleep the day away as always.......

So Katy's thyroid panel is good, her general chem, Hb, liver, U&E's, Pancreatic enzymes and all the other stuff is within normal limits.......

The only thing is her neutrophils are slightly elevated, only very slight and that would mean there is inflammation somewhere. Which could be due to all sort of reasons.

So we have done all of this stuff and have no idea , except for the pebble. So I am thinking she had the mechanical blockage, which she is now getting over. She is into food again and barking.

They told me to keep an eye on her. She will have her desex, gastropley and check x-rays in about a fortnight if she is well.

I really thought I was going to loose her....she was just so flat and unwilling to move, scary.

She is eating cooked food at present, not impressed LOL, rice/oats/veggies/barley and a very small amount of chicken mince....Keep her low fat and high fiber for the moment
