is there anyone in WA who can help????????

I have just had contact from a NZ Newfie Breeder who has just found out one of her newfies is on a free-site. the newfie needs to be gone by Easter apparently .

Can anyone help get her off the Free-site or at least stop getting her in the wrong hands. there are so many idiots around.

I am trying to get hold of rescues in WA, Anyone??????

I thought breeders had clauses that their dogs must go back to them if the owner can no longer care for them?

I wish I could help, but I don't know any rescue groups in WA

You could look for WA rescue group on pet rescue and contact them...?

Thank you Bunny...have just contacted a newfie breeder in WA too. And someone who has wanted a Newfie rescue who lives in Perth

Will also contact the Rescue's.....just don't want her to go to an idiot. The breeder is beside herself. Not much you can do once a puppy has gone International.....

If it's "free to good home" or whatever, then it would be quite easy for the rescue groups to get it from the owner, I guess. I hope it all works out. Please keep us updated.

    Hi Newfsie,

Edith is one of the SAFE Perth people who is involved in rescue, this is her email address Edith Balatonyi (ebalatonyi@hotmail.com).

They are also on Facebook, but I know that Edith and Sue coordinate a lot of the rescues, Sue's mobile 0437 870 245.

Hope they can help or direct to someone who can.

Thank you findeb...Will let you know if we do. At present there is a newfie breeder doing all the leg work. The poor NZ Breeder was beside herself with worry. Cares about all her puppies and only has very few litters

Oh gawd, how awful, keeping my fingers crossed.
And people wonder why breeders practically interrogate potential puppy buyers... this is why!
