And I would like to add, we do not charge breeders using the same breeding program, stud fees and they recieve suitable puppies at a very reduced cost, they in turn do the same, with any other breeder or ouselves.
In return, we bear the costs of heart and genetic testing, with copies of results shared by all parties.

So the few on here are still suggesting I am a backyard breeder just because i do things differently...so be it.

Once again, i understand many of the breeders here do there utmost best for their animals under the guidelines of breed clubs and am not suggesting you are anything but caring responsible breeders, but just ask that you respect the reasons I refuse to abide by your system, but respect your passion.

Excuse my ignorance, but are all agility dogs required to be desexed?
No - only the ones that don't have main line (suitable for breeding) pedigrees.

Given that the best agility dogs in my state are Koolies - this is a bit over the top if you ask me. And many of the best suited Border Collies don't have ANKC rego either.

Has anyone legally tested the ANKC monopoly on breed registration - ie is your Cav really a Cav if you don't have pedigree papers (showing family ancestry) for it?

That suprises me, wasnt aware agility dogs had those restrictions, but there you go, live and learn. Are any private agility places you can go or are they the same?

A lot of our cavies have been registered a long time ago,by my parents, but was pointless really, so no there not, and even though they are almost perfect specimens of the text book cavie, because some lines have been outcrossed at some point, they would be considered not registerable...but im happy about that, quite chuffed in fact.

Sorry, what exactly does outcrossed mean?

Another breed brought into the line? And if so, what breed is it?

Okay, you have been called a troll in the past and this has just sealed the deal.

I don't care what you say, it is now blatantly obvious you are just trying to lay the bait out.

This is the SIXTH thread you have been involved in where you have bashed show breeders and your comments about being "chuffed" about outcrossing when you are a member means you are either an raving idiot or again... just fishing for a reaction.

You can rave about having "your opinion" all you want and do the "oh poor me" like you did in your very first thread here where you said you didn't want your friend to get a boston terrier from a show breeder because they "don't give a crap about health".

I really don't care any more and I'm frankly surprised other people are still playing your game.

I'll be back when you finally get bored and go away, or I get banned, I'm really not fazed which ones comes first.

So CavQLD isnt allowed an opinion thats not in favour of show dogs (though I dont think she has come across that bad) but its OK to bash anyone else who isnt a registered breeder and to assume they are a puppy mill or are irresponsible?

It's all a bit pot kettle black IMO
