I was actually thinking Bull Terrier (not AmStaff, Staffy etc. just plain old Bull Terrier) crossed with Foxie. This was quite a common cross when I was a kid and Fox Terriers, Bull Terriers and Cocker Spaniels were the most common breeds in Oz.

Any way she's a lovely girl whatever she is. She would tempt me if I saw her in a pound.
she's a very lovely dog i think deerhound's right, she's a bull terrier crossed with Fox Terrier
