I sometimes put a dog blanky on my bed for Banjo to sleep on, Jadie. It's more for when she is still a bit wet from her swim, but it catches most of the hair too. Not that I want to persuade you to let the dog sleep on your bed. I just got so used to always having mine on the bed that it feels weird when Banjo decides to sleep on the floor when it's warm.

Yea I sometimes put a blanket over the top to catch the hair.

Its pretty pointless though, Barney sheds like a bitch so mostly, we just let him create his own blanket of hair LOL.

We dont often have our guys in with us in summer coz it gets too hot (Barney will go on the floor though when it gets too warm and lie by the open floor window) and also the OH doesnt like it. But when OH isnt here, they sleep with me all night every night regardless of how warm it is lol

My fave bit of sleeping with dogs, is waking up in the morning. Its like when ya kids are really small and they come runningin for cuddles. The dogs do that. I usually wake up (when they sleep with us) to Pippi forcing herself under my arm/chin/whatever is in the way to have her morning snuggle. She likes a cuddle before she goes out for toilet. Andshe gives lots of kisses....she is just GORGEOUS in the mornings LOL. Barney on the other hand is always very keen after a very quick pat ad kiss to be taken outside so he can cock his leg over everything LOL

Oh, you do NOT want to see my sheets then! On second thoughts, I don't think you would like my whole house!

We started out with a "dog blanket", but it didn't really last. My boys shed so much that whenever we sweep, OH and I always joke about having enough fur to make a little brother for them.

Anyway, I feel reassured that Chopz isn't going to asphyxiate - I guess he is smart enough to know what he is doing.

Lol I am actually amazed at the amount of hair Harley loses, I can brush and brush and will still have to clean the brush out every time, it's the never ending story but with hair! . Out house is covered in hair too! Lol the OH hates it and I just live with it! Lol I'll take the hair so that I can have them inside with me!

Helps that I am planning on ripping up the carpet too so it doesn't matter what they do to it!
