She is a rescue dog and has the sweetest nature and is very smart, we rescued another dog last year as well Jonies who is a 7 year old German Shepherd, he is her big brother and she loves him to death and frets if he is not around, he pretends he couldn't careless which is funny to watch but if another dog hassles her he is straight into sort it out and then tells her off.

    Awww....she's gorgeous!
Sounds like my girls. Lola is 10 months now and Misi still pretends that she couldn't care less about her.....but it's all an act.

Way back then that DNA company was just started out regarding this sort of breed testing thing and back then they only catered for I think only 38 breeds. That lady had an American Staffordshire Terrier which was NOT on their list of breeds that they could test for. As the company had only just started regarding this sort of testing they later discovered that they had technical problems which they admitted, and offered those who had previously tested their dogs that they could be tested again free of charge.

Also it was mentioned way back then that the lady should have “shopped around” and used a better more established company that had already been doing this sort of testing for much longer plus where they tested for heaps more breeds than what BioPet company did. Such as the Wisdom Panel which caters for 153 breeds, and which includes that lady’s American Staffordshire Terrier, such as seen at the Wisdom Panel company website at this address.
    Breed Profile: American Staffordshire Terrier

Regarding the BITSA test for this sort of thing at the GTG company I noticed via this link that they only have 58 breeds on their list, and additional breeds to be added later where I know that some other DNA companies already have much more breeds on their list, see the 57 breeds currently listed with BITSA via this link.

four socks What DNA Laboratory did your vet send your dog's blood sample or buccal cheek swab too so that the DNA Laboratory could do the testing, and did your vet mention what particular breed test was being used by the DNA Laboratory.
