    Default Wow...

I was just out getting Chinese for lunch and drove past a man on the corner of the mt Lindsay hwy in jimboomba selling French mastiff pups out of the back of a van. all I can do is shake my head, I was going to have a look but I am not in the mood for stupidity today and probably would have ended up ripping him a new one for being so irresponsible

I know what ya mean. Every weekend i run a gaunlet of B.B's in thier vans and car boots selling all sorts of pups and kittens at our local markets. Inside the markets aint much better.......no pups or kittens but heaps of poor chickens, roosters and ducks jammed in little cages for sale. Reminds me of the stuff i saw in Bali...
I wish a RSPCA inspector would visit but we only have one and they are totally overwhelmed dealing with all the wankers that live in my area who treat thier animals like crap.

Its just bull shit I thinks. How do they expect their puppies to go to good homes if they are just going to sell them to any old person who pulls up. I am thinking its the people that live around the corner from me, I walk past there with bella and they have two dogues, one which has just had pups.

Last sunday some idiot was standing outside the mall in the heat with his pregnant foxy trying to sell the puppies who were not even born yet, the poor thing looked like it was about to have heat stroke. Me and this other elderly woman Were very offended and asked for security to ring the police (it was borderline harrassment as he was following and pestering people about buying a pup) which they did though i didn't stick around to findout what happened to him and the dog. Im hoping somebody had sense to take the poor thing away from him.

To a lot of people it is a way of making a quick buck. I think it is disgusting and it is a pity it cannot be outlawed.

    EVERYONE BEWARE.!!!!!
There is a Silver Hilux going around Jimboomba Flagstone area stealing dogs. He was seen in broad daylight today trying to steal a staffy. Obviously this scumbag is stealing for fighter dogs, which is just crap! He is said to be in his mid 40's, driving a silver hilux with a "K" in the number plate. PLEASE keep an eye on your pets, even more so if staffys or bulldog type breeds. And take note of the FULL rego no and report it to police as there is a full investigation happening

i've said this before on this forum, but got shot down from a certain few people who love their cross breeds .... there should be a law that only allows for dogs to be sold from registered breeders, if you're not a registered breeder(and to become one you should need to register before you buy a dog) then the law should make you desex your dog and offer hefty penalties for anyone who doesn't comply. Yes, i know, plenty of crossbreeds are great dogs(and the law shouldn't stop people adopting crossbreeds) but how else do we stamp out this kind of nonsense?

isn't there a law in QLD about selling puppies with microchips and vaccinations. I'd be asking about that, to see the paperwork then getting rego number and reporting to the police and RSPCA and maybe Dogs QLD Dogs Queensland, especially if the guy said the dogs were papered - because that's either a massive breach of code of conduct and ethics or it's fraud - because he would not be registered with dogs QLD.
