    Default Every dog's favourite dream

I walked Banjo past the back of the shops as usual. But she stepped onto the road, which she rarely does and just wasn't responding to me. I noticed a big truck parked on our side of the little street so decided to cross to the other side. But still Banjo seemed like she was in a daze and I had trouble getting her attention. Until I saw a guy come out of the truck and walk to the back door of the supermarket with two massive pieces of meat on his shoulders. It was the meat delivery truck. The guy with the apron covered in blood looked a bit suspiciously at the dog staring intensely at him from across the road. So I got her to sit next to me and she watched them unload the truck like she was watching a favourite tv show. The look on her face was just priceless!

If that had been Luke, he may had been to tempted to go and have a look. For these reasons i keep him on lead near roads. He has no road sense.

Though in saying that, once he jumped the park fence (he's a good jumper) and ran across the road to check out some rabbit smells. Luckily No cars coming. Then he ran up to the lights and crossed on the crossing. Unfortunately he just missed the green man and crossed on the red. Naughty Luke. Hasn't done it since :P

It's more like a lane way there, otherwise I would have been faster reacting to her stepping off the footpath. But she is great with roads - when I'm with her. She will freeze when I say stay too.

But she was so amazed by the meat truck scene that I think all sounds became muffled. I pretty much had to steer her in the direction I wanted her to go. She never took her eyes off that truck.
