    Thumbs down Logan/North Brisbane Members...

According to FB there has been a number of attempted thefts of Staffies in the past few days around Logan and Redcliffe, so everyone make sure your dog is safe and secure at all times. Hopefully they catch the scum that is doing this. It really worries me!

That is not cool. How do you hear about this? Is it on the news or is there somewhere else you find this information?

Very scary! What makes it worse is i had a woman tell me that anybody has access to your details if your dog is registered (apparently they can find out what your dog is etc) im not sure how or if its even true but if it is its frightening

It was posted by a dog rescue group on Facebook. Not sure how they heard about it, things like this though I don't doubt it's happening! The news may pick up on it, but I doubt it.

Serious?! that scares me even more! I never wanted to register my dogs, but thought it was better than copping a fine

Which FB group? I have a few rescue groups on my page but haven't seen anything?

Its from Best Friends Animal Rescue - I think they must be a local rescue group! lol I think. I would link it in, but I am blocked from facebook which makes it hard to use properly!

Bumped into a woman at an off-leash dog park that i ended up talking to for over an hour.
She was saying that criminals were able to access information in regards to your property via dog registrations (how many dogs you have, what kind of dog you have, whether they're desexed etc) this way they can pick out which homes to break & enter that do not have dogs on the property. However you could also interpret the information another way... stealing bitches to breed from, bait dogs etc. Yet again i do not know if this is true, but if it is it's something that definitely needs to be addressed if it is.

Yeah for sure. It should all be secure information. You can't trust anyone these days though
