Default What breeds make up this dog?

This is my friend's dog. When she bought him, she was told he was a long hair Chihuahua.... *snorts*... he is now around 9kgs, with long legs.
Mind you, she loves him just the same but we often debate about "what" he is. I have my theories, but I'm curious what others think.
Hopefully I attached the pics correctly.

I'm with you guys on the Pap. Most definitely. I was thinking maybe Pap X Cav King Charles? The eyes and shortish nose/muzzle, along with the coat and colouring???

Maybe... ?? Not really though. The colour is more pap than cav. I'm thinking maybe just byb Pap and nothing else. Some Papillions are bigger than average. He really just looks like a big Papillion to me!

Although I'm thinking maybe border collie... ???

Hmmmmm i never even thought of that. But he'd be a giant Pap.... info says male Paps are 4-5kgs. He is double that. Surely that's not normal from breeding two Paps together? Unless he was one of those anomalies, like when two regular people have a baby that grows up to be 9 feet tall while everyone else in the family is 5-6 foot. lol

Maybe kelpie in him? He looks pure Pap to me though.

Toy breeds have a natural genetic tendency to get bigger when breeding dogs are not selected for small size. I have met Poms almost 5kg, and certainly purebred - that is twice their maximum weight as per the standard.

It would only take a couple of generaions to be way over.
