Red face meaning of group 2 1E in dog conformation

Hi everyone I have just joined.

I was wondering if anyone knows the meaning of the 1E in the title. It came with my pups show number. Any help would be appreciated, thank you in advance. Nikkita.

Is your pup under 6 months old?

    Is your pup a bitch?

If so are you sure it's not 1a? 1a is baby puppy bitch class.

Very stange, maybe it's an agility or obedience title if it's on the dogs actual papers?

The age classes at shows have different numbers, but they aren't printed on your dogs papers, it just shows the show secretaries what class you are entering.

For example my dog is entered in class 5 each week which is the 18 month to 3 year age class. If he were a bitch he would be in 5a (the letter simply meaning the dog is female.

The receipts sent with your numbers when you do online entries are getting pretty fancy now. And it's nice to know how many entries for each breed are in your broup, gives me an idea of what time I need to be there.

But now I'm curious what the e is. especially attached to conformation.

    Ahhh whoops, missed that bit.

We don't get back what classes the dog is entered in, if I enter different classes for different shows and then forget about it, it's a surprise when I line up for breed
