Talking Harley - Smarter than I thought!

I just remembered something that happened over our Christmas holidays which cracked Ray and I up!

Harley was playing with his fav blue ball when along comes Bella being the little bitch she is and takes it. He tried for ages to get it back off of her and she wouldn't give in. So off Harley goes and picks up a tug-o-war rope from across the yard. Bella spots the rope and gets all excited and rushes over to him to play. As soon as she grabbed on the other end of the rope Harley let go and ran back to get his ball.

Smart little cookie planned that whole thing out! Blew my mind that he could be so calculating to get what he wanted. haha

That's awesome. Just reminded me of something...

I was at the park with Luke and one client's dog (Steffi). A man came over with his dog and a ball. He threw it and Steffi grabbed the ball and wouldn't give it back. I looked at Luke and said, "Go get the ball" in a fun voice. Luke ran after Steffi and circled her a couple of times before grabbing the ball out of her mouth and brought it straight back to me, putting it in my hand. I'd not taught him to grab balls out of dogs' mouths :P

Needless to say, the owner of the other dog was very impressed

I'm just glad there is a group of us that can have a laugh and a good dig at each other. Keeps it fun and interesting !!!

Every now and then i'll do a search for info and look at some of the older threads on the forum and notice that it used to be pretty heated and ugly with a lot of members either leaving or getting band, glad its not like that now. That other dog forum sounds scary aswell, i'm not even going to have a look over there. I cant stand big ego's or people without a sense of humor. So glad we can have a laugh together.
