    Post Bee Stings

I was at home taking the washing off the line today when Luke had a sniff in his clamshell pool and then jumped back and started licking his lips.
I looked into the water and saw a bee floating there. Luke had been stung. I watched him over the next hour and decided it best he went to the vet, as his lips had swollen quite considerably.Poor Luke
He's feeling better now. His mouth has gone down since these pictures were taken at the vet

Ouch! Bet he won't go chasing them around anymore!

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.

Funnily enough he wasn't even chasing it, just stuck his head into the clamshell to have a sniff of it in the water and it got him. I was watching the whole thing from a distance as it happened. I'm lucky that he didn't have a more severe reaction. Unfortunately, my wallet is wishing he had no reaction at all. $103 later... :s

Aw that's even worse! Hopefully he doesn't think the clam shell is a bad place now!

I'm hoping he won't see it as a bad place. We haven't been out there since yesterday, as the weather has turned a bit cold. I will take him out there today and see how he is. I'm sure he'll be fine though

What? You don't beleive I was cleaning the pool LOL

No point in pics of th ebee sting....it was on the fat part of my foot right behind my toes so while it's a bit swollen, its not really noticeable
