My daughter put a hat on in the house and Falcon went into attack mode!! I told her to take it off immediately and sit down...call Falcon and let him know it's her....he was going to bite her

Just the other day...my daughter..(yes..the same one!! ) put on a dress up dress that was way too big for her..and she was running around the backyard. Candy hadn't noticed at first...but when she spotted Aimee, Candy went flat strap down the yard with this vicious growling bark thinking she was a stranger....thank gawd Aimee knew to reasure Candy before she got bowled over!

This is a bit off topic...but just goes to show how animals know how ppl *look*.

I used to work at a chicken farm where there was 5000 dams and 2000 roosters in each shed (to produce fertile eggs for the hatchery). I worked (collecting eggs) in 2 sheds.

One day I walked into the sheds looking a bit different...I had put a lighter colour in my hair and had it cut into a long bob...rather than my usual long brunette hair. Well..OMG, the roosters attacked me thinking I was someone new!!!! I left work that day with very bruised legs from them running up, jumping and whipping me with their rubber like legs

I took the rest if the week off after that....then came back the next week with my usual dark hair and it tied back the best I could into a pony tail...all was peacefull again

OMG! I'm glad Falcon didn't bite your little girl. It's amazing how they react. This reminds me of one time a few weeks ago....I was in the bathroom for ages, washing hair colour out...Lola was in the lounge, when I was done she heard the bathroom door open and ran up the hallway towards the bathroom barking...just like Candy - growling and very agro...I jumped! wasn't expecting it. I just said 'Lola it's me you silly girl!" Her tail started wagging and she went all shy. So funny, i think she was embarassed

    Wow! That's amazing!
    You poor thing!
When I had my bunny...I always had friends look after him if i ever went away. They always said that he was a snob and would just sit in the corner, and they were amazed how he'd turn into a real playful character when I was around.

Axle is the same! If I greet him in the morning and I'm wearing something I don't usually wear, he goes nuts and I have to tell him it's me before he puts his ears down and picks up his toy!
