Whatever it is, it's a stunner! Pity it's sitting in a petshop waiting for some unsuspecting bugger to dish out big bucks in order to fund some greedy puppy mill owner what was the price tag on it jadielee?

I'm guessing the PS owner thought that mix sounded more sellable than a PB* or AM*.

'Oh look mummy I love those roley dogs and also I love the 101 Dalmations movie - why not buy this little guy, he is a mix of both. Only $1000' ' Ok darling but if he doesn't act like roley or the dad on 101 dalmation - off to the pound for him'. Six months later 'Oh mum he look just like a nasty PB - I want a cuter dog'. 'Ok darling, lets go and pick up a ****oodle at the pet shop - they are much cuter and they don't shed'. Six months later 'Damn this dog hair is everywhere - off to the pound for you - lets get a turtle'.

LOL Pepe, that is a very detailed description you have come up with.

More likely that the BYBers didn't lock up the bitch when it was in heat and the dog they thought got it pregnant did not or the litter had multiple sires. Or they were told their bitch is one thing and it is not.

Yeah it makes me sad too, I ended up having to walk out because they had 2 bull arab x pups in there and they took one out and left the other screaming cause it was alone makes me want to buy them all so that they don't have to sit in those stupid glass boxes any more!

Kuri they don't display prices at this pet store. I think there was a English Staffy pup in there a while ago that was being treated for hook worm or something (I went and asked them if they knew their pup had blood in the pen ) and he was around $700 I think.

I personally think they are too big to be any amstaffy in there, but then that all depends on what they are crossed with as well and their age. When Harley was a pup he was only tiny even though he is a heffa of a dog now. Much smaller than these two were.

I saw a notice in McDonalds in Campbelltown yesterday for "English x American staffy pups". For the bargain price of $700...

Considering Sydney's pounds are chock full of these types it would be funny if it wasn't so damn tragic.

Have a look on gumtree there are heaps on there 2 for $1500, 1 for $1000 and 1 for $850.00 - RIDICULOUS!! Two are nice looking dogs - one black, one blue but i would never pay that much for a dog, especially as a companion dog... mind you i spent over $2500 to get my cat's here, that's ridiculous according to my friends and family but i guess your willing to pay that much for whatever rocks your boat so to speak.

I would pay whatever the price was for the dog I wanted.

Thus far that price has been low.

Chevy was free, Lennox was $20, Barney was $50 (SPCA), Pippi was $200.

But, like Kuri, I did spend $3000 getting Barney and Chevy from NZ to OZ (though Chev died 3 weeks later so we now call Barney our $3050 dog lol)

Lol we do the same, put a price tag on them according to how much money they have managed to squeeze out of us, especially since one of them seems to be accident prone & is always costing us lots in vet bills. Everytime we come back from the vet OH says to me "that was his last chance, if something happens to him next time, i'm only forking out enough money to put him to sleep" but everytime he foots the bill. lol
