Oskar loves me but not as much as he loves his dad makes me sad sometimes, but i still get cuddles. He likes cuddles from the kids as well.

ive had tess since i was 11 years old now almost 27 and she will always find someone to love more than me, i think she tries to make me jealous. i will come home from work and she will barely lift her head to say hi but an hour later when OH gets home she will go absolutely crazy for him and then follow him around for an hour.

but i no lily loves me the most she will not go to OH and just snuggle me all day

harley loves everybody and will run from person to person until he is satisfied with all his hugs/pats/lovin

This thread is quite fun to read! Molly was definitely a daddies girl at the start, considering he picked her and i didn't like her (she kept barking at me) but it was cute to see them interact outside of the cage, she would rub up against him, lick him, wanted absolutely nothing to do with me - so i let him bring her home and figured that later on i would choose MY dog. Anyway the day we got her home BAM! everything changed, i spent most of the entire first day with her as OH was working on the car, so i figured in those few short hours we bonded, now she is definitely my girl and my OH get's rather annoyed about it. If he growls her, she hides behind me, when we come home from a day out she comes to say hello to me first, if we are walking off lead and she wanders off and he calls her she doesn't listen or won't come back until I call her lol

On the otherhand, i usually have mum's dogs stay with me during the weekday's ( i only work three hours a day, so she will drop her dogs off for me to feed, walk etc them pick them up on her way home from work) & her bichon is a bloody user! If she is around he will growl at me and i'm not allowed anywhere near him - next minute when she's gone he acts like my bestfriend, will follow me EVERYWHERE (even to the bloody toilet) until she comes back and then all of a sudden i'm not allowed to touch him. must have some sort of bi-polar disorder. lol

lol Kuri. Maybe the bichon doesn't want his mum to feel sad about him loving someone else. In fact, maybe he is reading this thread.

After I came home from hospital with my baby, my ex came over to walk the dog in those first couple of weeks. He was so terribly offended because the dog wouldn't go with him. She kept running back from the park at the end of our street to be by my side. He got furious and I had to tell him to just leave her be. He thought of himself as a real dog person but couldn't get my dog to listen to him at all. I do miss that stubborn loyalty. Banjo is such a tart...

Oskar will be anyone's best mate for food, and when my bf isn't around he just mopes around lol. Though if Luke takes Oskar for a long walk and the girls and I go to meet them, Oskar gets really excited and runs over to me...makes me so happy, I love that mutt so much lol, he just got home from a walk and jumped up on the lounge to acknowledge me yay!

Annabelle was mine and mine alone..........Which was a real problem. She was also the one who had all the aggression problems, so now I am opposite to you and i have worked really hard at getting her to like other people. And now nothing has thrilled me more , because she has finally gone to "the other side".....Hubby and all these other guys at training. She hated and loathed men. Now with all the training we have done she has gone "I love all men"........And yes after all the work I have put into her I am a little green eyed, when i see her grovel to men and do her sway side to side sway body wag...with her big newfie smile Just because LOL

Funny how dogs nearly always pick a member in the family and it doesn't matter how much effort another puts in........

Gypsy was 100% mine until my ex and I split and I moved back to my parent's place, now she follows my Dad around like a shadow. She gets so excited when he gets home and when I get home all I get is a "oh hi Mum"
Owning a dog should be a partnership. Much like a good marriage it should be based on love, trust and devotion until death do you part.

Well Koda just adores me to death!
as for Dodge, if my dad is around, only he exists apparently... lol
if Dodge is chasing the chooks, i can yell at her, growl at her, even chase her and it wont help at all... where as my dad just has to say "get out of it" in a quiet growly voice, and she will instantly stop... haha
personally i think Dodge is a LOT like Red Dog (for those who have seen that movie) extremely devoted to one person, sure she likes other people too but
she has a mind of her own with everyone else.... "A dog for everyone, but no-one in particular"

I'm often away for work for a week (or two) and when I get home Nero punishes me with indifference for a few days. He'd go crazy when I come and follow me around for a while - but at night he'd snuggle with OH on the sofa. When I'm not away I'm working from home and then Nero used to be absolutely and totally mine. But now he is almost 2 and things are changing. All of a sudden OH seems much more interesting than boring old me ... yahyahyah.

Mind you being only No. 2 has definitely upsides Nero sometimes wakes OH in the middle of the night with a very wet slobbery kiss... just making sure he isn't sleeping I guess

Mischa and Carl are 'my' dogs through and through. Not only will they not listen to anyone else, but they follow me everywhere and only eat when I'm here, etc etc.

like a rolling thunder chasing the wind...
