Owning a dog should be a partnership. Much like a good marriage it should be based on love, trust and devotion until death do you part.

In the end without pedigree papers or some form of proof of parentage etc you can never know if she is a "Pitbull". I am sure either way she is more likely a cross then a purebred.

To me she is a "pitbull" type and would 100% be called a Pitbull if ever caught by the council.

I agree with Keira & Pheonix.

She's a pitbull in the eyes of the councils. I would keep her out of Victoria, at least until we get rid of the stupid BSL B.S.

She is very beautiful. I'm actually surprised the shelter called her a Staffy X. My guess was to protect her and ensure she was adopted out. It would've been a lot harder to adopt out a "pitbull X"

As an 8 week old pup (possibly younger when the rescue took the pup in) it would have been hard to tell tbh, and is unlikely they had a decent history of the pup.
They are so closely related though it can be hard to tell sometimes but I see more Pitt then Staff in her.

She is very beautiful and is an honourary member of my family but doesn't get to come to the house often because she will chase my cat and her Dad told me that she "eats cats"

She is gorgeous either way. And what a scrumptious baby she was!

She def looks like a pit baby to me..but like K says...without papers, who really knows. And regardless she would still be classified as a pitbull type because of how she looks so I guess it doesnt matter whether she is pure or part or non at all.

Well I did pick the pit bull from that line up, without any hesitation.

However, going from that Vic Govt set of pictures, the easiest way to pick a pit bull is by that huge black studded collar! I thought the "dress code" was a bit emotive.

I do not own a PB but I am sympathetic to their cause.

I'm just glad to know she is not in Victoria as she would most certainly be in grave danger.

However , I see no indication of any cross and in fact would actualy say she's not a too badly bred little girl. Just a little on the tubby side
