I agree, I think with our lot it is more about the discovery........And paper whoo hoo, we can rip it

I spoil my girls at Christmas. I got Dali a new bed and some soft treats. I got Chev and Gypsy both custom made collars from collarmania.com. Chev is also getting one of those dog treat stockings. Gypsy is also getting a new soft squeaky toy, a hard rubber ball with a bell in it, a new lead (she chewed the last one) and 2 cheapie squeaky toys. My cat Ebony is getting a custom collar too and some of those Dine one serve cat foods that she loves so much.

I also got them a shell pool just because, we made a new run for them last weekend and I am getting a heap of agility equipment ready to practise our stuff in the new year.
Owning a dog should be a partnership. Much like a good marriage it should be based on love, trust and devotion until death do you part.

Every day is Christmas for Carl and Mischa. I work at a Petbarn outlet so my discounts are great. I almost always come home from work with something new for the dogs, irrespective of the day...

Last week, I bought a big wire crate for them. And today I bought a new bed, a Kong Wobbler, a Kong Extreme for Carl, a new collar for Mischa, leads, two bags of Carl's favourite chicken jerky, a bucket of liver treats and some other stuff. I buy Dentastix for Mischa in bulk because she just loves them. My dogs work hard and play hard so they deserve to be spoilt! I.e. today after walking them before work and tiring them out, I made them go for a long walk again when I got home!

Not sure if they'll be getting anything specific for Christmas...they get new things fairly often.

Tonks stocking is hung in the middle of the boys stockings and his presents ( of new squeakers of course) are wrapped under the tree. Oh and almost forgot! He also has a new WeaselBall , because he thinks they are just awsome lol

Current rescue has more balls, tennis balls, hand balls, cat balls ( yes) ...all it needs to do is be round and roll. Also a new harness/collar/lead set that gets passed on to the new owners.

I have to laugh at all these reports of presents under or in the tree. I considered putting my daughter's present - a big box of plastic junk... err toys - under the tree today, but I can be 90% sure that that present will not be there anymore if I leave Banjo in the same room for more than 10 minutes!

So no way I could put dog toys or treats under the tree if I want them to last till Xmas.

Ooooh I like the idea of new name tags, might go looking for some today. I'll get them engraved properly this time, the ones I engraved myself are all wonky
