    Default Dog vacuum/grooming attachment

Just wondering if there is such a thing as a vacuum attachment for grooming a shedding dog. I somehow feel I've heard of one, but I haven't been able to find one. At the moment, Jorjie is shedding copiously and I've been turning the vacuum to half strength and giving her a bit of a clean, along with the usual brushing, raking and bathing. She seems to enjoy being vacuumed, even sat up this morning and asked when I was vacuuming the house.

Is the Dyson Groom suitable for your dog from my understanding reading about it, you don't vacuum the dog with it but its like a slicker brush then you turn the vac attachment on on and it sucks up the hair. Theres a few vids of it in use on the site.

Oh... My understanding was you used it with the vacuum turned on, the suction is split so you catch flyaways as well as the loose hair. I don't think it applies full suction- you 'groom' at low suction then release the 'trigger' which then sucks the hair up into the vacuum.

But... As I'm on the iPhone... I can't actually watch the vids. Darn Apple.
