Thread: The Local Pet Shop

    Default The Local Pet Shop

I'd just like to say that I love my local pet store, instead of putting puppies and kittens in the window they put up posters for shelter animals. Does anyone else know of a store that does this? Because I think it's a great idea.

One of my fave - not quite local to me - dog supplies shops - actually also runs foster care for homeless dogs and puts ads up in the shop and on the shop facebook page.

I make trips across town for that shop because Frosty's fave training treats come from there.

    This is the facebook page.

I havent seen one yet but thats great.

Our local pet store is a big one and they dont have any dogs or cats. It sounds horrid, but I am always a little bit disappointed I cant puppy perve (even though I dont necessarily agree with pups in pet stores)

I think that is absolutely fantastic! We have 3 pet shops in the town I live in. One sells puppies and kittens and birds, fish, rabbits etc. Another only sells fish and the other was going to be a "no livestock" store but now sells guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, fish and birds.
Owning a dog should be a partnership. Much like a good marriage it should be based on love, trust and devotion until death do you part.

Boylans pet paradise in Bundy dont sell pups or kittens either. They do sell fish and birds but they are in excellent condition and well looked after. I use them over the other stores because they dont support puppy farms even though they arnt the cheapest store.
