I am not one for this but if this is what you want then who the hell has any rights to tell you other wise.
When I was kid we always had out Labrador in our bed. And we had no ill affect on us.
Though now I would not do it and I would not let my kids do it.
As they did ask one day and I told them no.
different stroke for different folks I think.

Personally I can't do dogs in beds, I can't handle the hair everywhere!

I use to be fine with them doing it when I was younger, I think though as I get older I get more anal with things like that, Bella is allowed on the lounge now, but only cause I have a sheet on it! lol I wish dogs didn't shed their hair!!

Like everyone else has said, if she is happy and your happy then its all good!

There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face.

    Agree with everyone else.

My OH has been away for the last week and a half and myguys are in bed with me every night (also so its a screwdriver - fancy home protection device).

The hair does suck....Ive just taken off me bedding because it didnt even resemble bedding anymore (Barney is shedding at the mo), it was some sort of weird furry creature.

OH gets back in a couple of hours and they will sleep on their beds in the hallway then

Murphy is is the shed mode at the moment to but being a pup it is only light.
Our last Heeler when she molted she lost so much.
What I use to do was brush her every day and throw the fur onto the lawn.
Then sit there and watch as the birds from around the place would swoop down.
They would fill their beaks with the fur and I watch them fly off to their nest.
So it had a use I never thought of.

we are a "no dogs on beds or couches" house.
If you are happy then dont worry about it.
Our beagle will chew the cushions and pillows- so he stays in his basket at our feat and sleeps in his kennel out on the porch.

When she is in my bed at least I know where she is. At least with foxy the hair in the bed is not to bad she has her own sheet on her own side.

Once upon a time, I would have cringed at even the thought of having a dog on the bed let alone on the sheets, but the boyfriend is an avid animal lover and I gave in. I just wash the sheets more often now lol. As for the lounge it's old, so i don't care as much. Oskar hasn't made as much mess as two humanoid chills lol

Hair in the bed? What is this you speak of?

Hyac makes a good point, nothing worse than a cold nose invading your 'private time' with your partner.

Never mind the cold nose. My former house mate - used to have a killer attack cat - who was not willing to share my house mate or bed with any man. killer attack cat would take a flying leap onto their bed and latch onto the most sensitive bits...

This is the same cat I used to wear gum boots around the house to protect my ankles from.
