Smile Do Your Dogs Wait for You?

Do your dogs wait for you to get home after work/being out? Harley and Bella have always done it. Now that Bella is in her run Harley waits by himself! So cute!

Apparently when I go out and my OH stays home Prada will sit by the front door staring at the handle until I come home. Doesn't matter if it is 2 minutes or 2 hours she doesn't take her eyes off the door handle.
Been thinking about setting up a video camera to see what all 3 of them do when no-one is home.

Nero knows exactly what time OH is due to come home. And when it's time he sits somewhere where he can watch the gate.

The boyfriend wants to get a camera too, to watch Oskar while we are out. He is ok while we are out, but as soon as he hears the car pull in to the driveway if either one of us has been out, he gets hell exctited lol.

Our pooch is often on the back steps waiting as I always bring some sort of food home.

Jadielee, you mentioned buying dogwire recently.
I got a quote today from farmcraft for $495 per roll (yikes) 100 mts 150mm
    sq mesh 1500 height.
    Our dog is not a jumper - so I was thinking 900 - 1200 h would do.
    Where did you get yours?

Jimboomba is not very far from our place.

My dog waits at the corner of the fence as soon as a car starts down the drive.. Then as soon as she realises its my car she tears around to where the gate is and waits there.

    Sooo cute

We got ours from Jimboomba Timbers, originally we got the 1200 high and it was way cheaper than the taller stuff - I think we got 150m plus the star pickets for around 300-400. The tall mesh was only in 100m rolls which were around 250 each which is why it cost us soooo much. It just means we have extra now though so can do more fences!

All the prices are on here and they deliver as well which makes it easier! http://www.jimboombatimbers.com.au/FencingWire.html

Ours are shut up while we are out, but yes they wait otherwise. Barney waits for his dad, and Pippins waits for her mama.

I grew up with a border collie and every day when I would ocme home from school, she would meet me half way. Exactly the same place at exactly the same time every day LOL

Apparently Carl sleeps in my room and only comes down to go to the toilet when I'm not here. Unless it's storming, then he'll sook and cuddle whoever's closest. Mischa lies near the garage or outside the back gate so she can see my car coming up the drive.
