Default Harley Had a Tick :S

Before Harley was inside sitting on the floor when I seen a little bush tick crawling up his back! So hopefully that means their tick collars are working and it didn't want to attach any where! They both got a massage (which they loved) to make sure there were no others, and I will give them a bath tomorrow to make sure there are none hiding!

Creeps me out, I had a dog die when I was younger from Paralysis tick, I had bathed her the day before but didn't take her collar off, which is where it was hiding. I hate the little things!!

Everyone must be vigilant in checking their dogs in tick prone area's!

Yeah ticks suck (get it, get it ?)

We are lucky in Bundy for some reason we dont get paralysis ticks at all here, but we make up for it by being a hotspot for fleas!

Hahaha! We have luckily never had flea issues! Hopefully we never do, cause they are so hard to get rid of! Very lucky that you dont get the paralysis ticks though, they are horrible horrible things!

You guys probably know this but just incase... make sure you check between the toes, poor little dog down the road died because they did not find the tick there.

I live in a paralysis tick area. There has been a warning given that there is a shortage of anti venine available this year. The thing to do is give your dog a thorough going over every day. Start at the head, feel over the ears, neck, body, right down to the tail and toes. Don't forget the anal area. It's a warm spot where ticks may lodge.
