Barney is leash reactive and once he sees a dog while he is on lead he just goes crazy so the potential is there for the excitement to turn to aggression. It's weird as coz if I pop a dog in the back yard he is completely fine.

Pippi on the other hand is just flat out DA. She ould be an embarrassment at a dog park trying to attack everything (she is only a tiny thing)

I would like to come but Snoop does not ever want to get in the car.
When he was little I would just scoop him up and put him in the back.
He loved going to puppy school and the beach.
I used to buy Maccas on the way home so he would associate the car with happy things.
Now he would weigh about 25kg ( at 6 months lol) so this is getting a bit harder. I will try over the next month to get him to jump in himself.
He is just so awkward and gangly.

Hope to meet you all in Nov.

Being leash reactive, once he sees a dog Barney is over threshold and yes it would, more than likely result in a fight if a dog got close.

The reason he is fine with dogs in your yard is because he isnt dog aggressive he is just reactive to other dogs when on leash, leash reactivity is usually caused by under socialisation and mishandling of the lead (by accident mostly but sometimes people correct the dog on purpose but have bad timing). You could work with him on a desensitization and counter conditioning program if it is something you want to fix.

Ishould be able to make that date but will know for sure closer to the date.
Re: someone mentioned nuggee here or on another forum, I have been warned of sharks hanging around there and dogs being taken, also because it is fenced it atracts more idiots with uncontrollable sometimes aggressive dogs, would prefer to avoid Nudgee.

I think Bribie will be ace. Nudgee maybe overcrowded too, I wouldn't imagine Bribie being over run. Hope to have pics up in a week or two. Also, hope to see you ChubbSec.

Sam I tried to post on Facebook, but the stupid thing wouldn't work! Lol

If we don't have many people coming, maybe we should think about changing the date so that we have a big group?
