    Default Ziggy's Walk

So, husband took Ziggy for a work this morning. It had been a while since they'd been on a morning walk together and all was going well- until they got halfway. Someone was getting their car out of their driveway. Their GSD was in the front yard, saw Ziggy, and slipped through the gap in the gate. It came at Ziggy growling, snarling and snapping its teeth. Zig freaked out, slipped out of her collar (which she has never done before) and ran off at a million miles an hour. GSD gave chase. Owner of GSD and husband are chasing after the dogs. Ziggy disappears.
I was at home, and was very confused when a huffing and puffing Ziggy turned up alone- no husband in sight. I went for a look for husband but didn't find him. Husband eventually made it back home, he was looking for her and was very happy that she had made it back home.
We were very glad Ziggy made it back, she must have been really scared to not get distracted by smells or people on the way. We also weren't sure if she would find her way home or get lost somewhere- I guess she knew the way after all. I'm also very glad it was early with not many cars about- Ziggy has very little road sense, but she made it home without a scratch.
Alls well that ends well but what a stressful morning

So glad she made it home safely! Hope she'll quickly forget about the incident.

I have a bit of a soft spot for your Ziggy after seeing her photos a little while back. Such a cutie!

What a fright for Ziggy (and husband!)
If my OH came back without the beloved pooch his life would be SO not worth living!
Lucky that Ziggy made it home first.
Is Ziggy fully grown? I ask because he looks like my boy Snoop who is 5&half months old and looking extremely large these days. He has paws like a polar bear and I am not sure what breed/s he is as he was a pound puppy.

Happy to hear that everyone is alright.

Ziggy is fully grown now, she's two- I should update her album. We think she's cattle dog x staffy but aren't really sure.
