    Default Why Do Dogs?

Think they can fit in the smallest part of the lounge or bed

Ruby will see the smallest scrap of lounge between my legs, hubby's legs, 1 kids arm and a few stuffed toys and she will try and squeeze her fat Butt in it!

I end up with this 25+kg dog treading all over me and and someone usually ends up with an ass in their face!

I dont know if in her eyes she actually will fit in that spot or she just doesnt care

They just don't care whether they can fit. What they want is to be as close to everyone as possible. They don't care if they have to sit in your lap to do it

Frosty expects me to squeeze in the tiny space, not her. However she doesn't like the effect of me climbing into bed directly under her (earth quake), so she gets back in her own bed pretty quick.

That's a great tip! I was woken up so rudely at 2.30am last night when a 30+ kg dog landed on my face! He had aimed for the 15 cm wide gap between me, OH and the duvet, trying desperately to get under the duvet... b-e-f-o-r-e ... we notice(!!!). He must have thought if he just tried with enough momentum he may be able to slip in unnoticed!

Banjo doesn't know the idea of private space either. A couple of times she's shut down my laptop because she was lying half on me pressing keys with her paws or bum. But fortunately she does like having space to sleep, so she'll move to the footend of the bed when she gets sleepy enough.

    And at the farting, Kass!

So your problem is...........Have you tried living with three loving newfs, 55kg, 72kg and 76kg.....Plus a 30kg little dog

Sunday morning after we have a sleep in, I sometimes invite the dogs onto the bed.........Kinda crowded, but they do love it

hahaha Newfsie! My two are bad enough when they decide they are coming up on the bed (especially the hair) I couldn't imagine 3 giant dogs and one that is half way there! :P

Lol Bella is a bit grumpy tonight, she has been banished to the floor from now on so that Harley doesn't get jealous that she is on the lounge and he isn't! lol its rather funny watching her try and trick me into letting her up! she pretends she is just sitting for a hug and slowly tries to bring her legs up.
