My dog is unfortunately not an inside dog, he is just way too big and drooly. His tail does enough damage to my body let alone seeing him walking past the plasma.
He isnt very choosy in what he likes to destroy outside and from in the garage.
To my horror last month i was walking past my motorbike and noticed orange plastic on the ground, he had decided to crush my indicator for something to do, this to same bike that has sat there off/on for 2 years, why now?
Everything he chews is usally at head height, its like he doesnt like to bend, the bbq, the back door frame, trees......
He also can reach alot whilst standing on hind legs so anything precious must be put about 6 ft off the ground.

haha forgot to mention we had to remove our lovely outdoor fountain and fish pond. It was impossible to keep the dogs out of it. They seemed to think it was a giant water bucket and always pulled algae plants out of it. Was worried they would get sick so my OH demolished the whole thing just for them

She gets most of the stuff she chews on from places I don't want to encourage her visiting like benches or tables. Or the rooms that I was supposed to close off. The latter is just my fault and I just have to try and remember.

I usually give her a chew in the evenings, but maybe I should change that habit and start giving it to her when we leave too.

By the sound of all the stories, I am blessed with my four....Katy only occasionally gets the mail if we leave it on the table. But we taught her to get the mail, so only we are to blame. And ours are inside. But they seem to snore the day away or play with toys on our screened verandah or beds (theirs not ours)

....I see your girl is selective. Now the only solution is a very tidy owner

Peter does your dog drool the whole time, mine only drool if it is very hot or there is food that they would like, but cannot have.........

Hey Newfie, not necessarily the whole time but theres usually a hanger or two at anytime of the day. Of course this is alot worse with food, heat and exercise.

Oh the washing drives me nuts! No matter how high I put it she still gets it down and then just leaves them at the bottom!

Lol funny story about bean bags, we have those knee table things to put plates on for eating on the lounge which has beanies under neath, Bella found one of them and destroyed it, I found her mid way through and the poor thing had a beanie stuck on her eye ball (when she was little her eye's popped out heaps)! Haha it was the funniest thing ever cause she didn't even notice it was there!

Our lab cross had only this unhealthy obsession with our shoes so I know how you feel about your leather boots. I own such a pair too and still own it! Treasure them... it's worth it cos they'll grow out of it

The only time Nero really got into trouble was when he chewed up a pair of ridiculously expensive cycling shoes. I think that was the only time OH ever yelled at him Nero was so shocked that he trotted off and didn't look at him anymore for the rest of the day. I had gone out to do shopping and when I came home Nero was sitting next to the gate. Sulking and waiting for mummy to come home.

Diesel has a strange obsession with my bras also?? they can be hung on the same line as my mums and he will only take mine... he never destroys them just drags them around the yard and stretches them... so many times i get to work and think this bra is doing nothing because hes stretched it so much... bras are not cheap to replace either!! haha

abbie does that. pulls everything off but just leaves it underneath the line. It's no fun to her then. Must be something about the black and white dogs..haha. Or girls for that matter..all the girl dogs i have owned have been so much more destructive!
