    Default Dogs Dreams

Thought this would be a bit of fun.

What do you think dogs dream about in their sleep?

Haha I have always wondered this! I think Axle would have dreams about food, because he is a little chubby bub Oscar would probably dream about being an Opera Singer because he is always humming to himself lol. And Saxon ... hmmm ... not too sure about him!!

Well Leos legs 'run' in his sleep and he makes quite little barks to, so i think he dreams about playing and chasing his doggie friends at the off leash park. Sometimes during these dreams i can see he starts becoming quite stressed, which i imagine to be a scuffle with another dog or possibly loosing us at the park. I have heard you shouldnt wake them but sometimes he gets so stressed in his sleep, i get down and whisper to him 'its ok, mums here' till he kinda comes to.

But sometimes he is just to dead to the world to dream! LOL I scared myself silly other day, Leo was sleeping and was trying to wake him and he wouldnt wake up, i started to panick (As i was shaking him quite hard by this stage calling his name) I called out in a panick to OH, theres something wrong with Leo!!! Just as i said that OH mum knocked and opened our door (As were neighbours, we share dinner nights and Leo knows she brings dinner over Mondays and Tuesday) Leo instantly awoke as soon as she opened the door and was well alert! I seriously thought there was something wrong! I was SHAKING him and calling LEO! Funny what food can do

OMG ! Misi does this too ! It's sooooooo scary when it happens the first time. A few weeks ago i saw Lola have a dream...she was quite vocal, twitching and shaking. I was tempted to wake her but ended up getting on with whatever i was doing...as i was walking out of the room i noticed she was sliding ( in her sleep & still making silly noises ) towards the edge of the couch...before i knew it CRASH! she fell off, on to the floor and didn't even wake up...kept sleeping on the floor for another few minutes. It looked so funny, but i was scared that she'd hurt herself...

During the day Kimba is Silent, she never barks or growls.
As soon as she falls asleep it all starts. The other night she was lying on my bed and growling in her sleep... then started making a yelping noise , it was really loud and my sister came in to see what was wrong...lol
Surely they would have to dream. I think they do.

She also twitches in her sleep but I think thats different.

I found this vid on Youtube (there are more) its like extreme dreaming..lol

We could always tell when Keesie dreamed as her paws would twitch, also her eyes would move and she would make some gentle bark sounds... Never noticed Kosmo doing anything like that.

Candy twitches and cries/whinges in her sleep.

I haven't noticed Falcon really do anything though.

Haha there has been some very cute and funny replies so far.

As Tony is a retired greyhound i have always imagined him dreaming of chasing and catching the rabbit.
