Yep, and these laws restricting them and illegalising them only serve to make them more appealing to that type...
So is that two here in Australia?

Your question made me look further and i wished i hadn't. There are some pretty ugly things happening out there. I must admit I had not realised to what extend it is happening OS.

The laws should actually have the reverse effect, it wold empower authorities to remove dogs and prosecute those breaking the law. As it stands now they are powerless unless its after the incident.

Just add a stick up their bums to hold them and cops could use em instead of tazers...

I suspect more people in the USA die of gun shot wounds. That's the number one cause of broken bones in the USA too, more than car accidents.

So there would be a significant number of people in the USA that use their dogs like weapons, it's not the dogs fault and banning the dog breed would just have people like that switch to another breed or create their own breed of attack animal.

Cats can kill babies by sleeping on the baby's head and suffocating them. My parents were much more concerned about this than any chance that our lab x bull terrier would do us any damage. We could pull food out of his mouth and eat it without getting any kind of grief from the dog.

That's a ridiculous comparison Hyacinth when clearly more people die from both guns and cars here too, where's the relevance???

I thought we'd reached a point and finally moved on from the hand grenades, missiles, gsw's and mva/rta comparisons.
