NSW I think it was. Hope no rottie fever fools lash out, though most would be preoccupied with pit stuff. It seems to come in waves.

its jsut media hype, there are no more dog attacks then in the last (may seem like more cos more people have dogs) but the media just grab some stuff and run with it......just liek a few years ago when the world hated all muslims,

Exactly. It is the same thing that is occuring with the Vic hype.

Vote no, opinion does sway legislation like it or not, that same question was asked in 2001.

Should rottweilers be outlawed in Australia? it's running pretty even atm.

I was listening local radio (in and out of kitchen) this morning. The guest speaker was the president Dogs NSW. He emphasised on responsible dog ownership (as most dog people would do) and mentioned about the rangers to identify dangerous dogs and act on it.

literally I felt instant heaviness on my chest.....hope the park rangers are well educated and impartial....

Not in the way the media are portraying it (or forum debaters)

At this rate any dog who bites in the next 2 months will have polls asking if they should be banned as well. Out of control media.

Unless of course they are sweet family dogs like Labradors or Golden Retrievers who never ever bite :S
