Default Wedding Venues Around Brisbane That Allow Dogs

    Hello all!
We want to have our familys' dogs involved in our special day: two Shelties, a Rotti x and a Chow x. Unfortunately we are having SO much trouble finding somewhere that we are considering using private property and hiring a marquee and caterers. This is proving problematic so we're starting at square one again in trying to find venues that will actually allow the dogs to be there for the ceremony and then to be returned home for the reception (food laws, etc.) Can anyone help us?
    Barkingly,
    The pack xx

How many guests tables are there? I may know of somewhere suitable.

Awww, 2 doggie people getting married and wanting their dog family to be there. That just makes my heart melt!

I don't live in QLD so no idea, but good luck!

Well... Between 40 and 60 guests for informal seating arrangement. Buffet and canapes for afternoon (not evening) event.

The Historic Rivermill | Country Wedding Venue with Wedding Chapel and Reception Specialising in Garden Weddings
I went to this place last weekend and was surprised with the lovely gardens chapel etc.
We were greeted by a blue heeler at the front gate. He seems to be head of security - haha

    Check out the website.

Wishing you all the best for your wedding.

My friends are behavioural dog trainers and so of course their dogs have to be in their wedding (as would mine if I ever get married). They are getting married here Brisbane Wedding Facilities, Brisbane Wedding Receptions. Although they have Cavaliers and only 2, so obviously will be harder with 4 dogs of larger breeds.

    Good luck.

I am pleased to let you all know that we have found somewhere! Springbrook Mountain Manor, Springbrook QLD. Our beloved pooches are allowed there for the ceremony on leash which is as much as we could have hoped for. Luckily the owner/manager is a dog lover herself so couldn't say no when we explained that our girl Sadie is our baby and it was a 'no-deal!' matter if she couldn't be there

    Thanks for the help everyone!
