It doesn't mean it is wrong either and it doesn't mean that they do not care for their dogs.

Do you breed crested?

    Sacrificing would be culling.

Re-homing is not harmful or upsetting for a dog as long as the dog goes to a loving family. It's not the same as dumping, drowning or shooting them.

Darwinism is what improves the breed. If you don't agree with it, you won't get far as a breeder.

That sounds more like it... yes that is pretty much what I mean, although I do not see it as sacrificing as these dogs aren't being taken out back and shot, they are given to loving homes.

Pugger, seems it's pretty easy to get main registered pups, look at this kennel Parknee, Cavalier breeders who don't show in QLD, they sell all their pups main registered:

I have a fully registered bulldog. The most well known british bulldog breeders actually have nothimg to do with showing and sell on a limited register so u cant show.

notice for sale to approved homes?
It's very bizarre still..maybe it's different between States. In Vic it's not easy to get one.

I'll put my hand up... I'm a registered breeder... I have rehomed older dogs, only a couple, but they have been desexed and have a much better life getting one on one attention... My dogs are not kenneled (expect when I'm not home) so they live inside, sleep on the beds, and yet they still moved on with ease.. I visit both girls regularly and love to see them, and they are always excited to see me... but they are also happy to go to their own homes... I've also had to put a dog to sleep because she was not rehomeable and I could not live with her as she was aggressive.. I also run Staffords In Need rescue service and rescue usually two or three dogs a week from pounds... I'd much rather a breeder desex and rehome than dump at a pound... these dogs do not do well... In the last few weeks alone we have a 13 year old, 10 year old and 9 year old all been dumped at the pound cuz they just don't want them anymore...

Would be hard here in Tassie too, all the breeders I know sell all pups on limit register with desexing contracts if they are not "up to scratch".

Selling an entire litter on main register is ludicrous.

I do know if you get cavaliers on limited register, you can try to get them fully registered if you show them.
I don't know of any Cavalier breeders who will sell fully registered pups to just anyone. They are always to known breeders who become known because of showing. So if cavalierqld doesn't show, I fail to see how she was able to get fully registered pups to breed from
It doesn't make any sense. I know a fair amount about breeding cavaliers because I was looking into it myself. I got pretty in depth information from quite a few Cavalier breeders.
Pugger, not sure what you are trying to insinuate here, but if it make you feel good, go for it :-).
