    The vet rang this morning with the results. It is dysplastic tissue in the surface cells. This means there's something there but it's benign - no cancer. There is little to no chance it will become something nasty in the future. We're just going to keep an eye on it, and he let me know what to look for.

    We decided that she is to be on soft food for a few months not to aggravate it. I'll be taking over mealtimes from now on.
