I feel absolutely sick about this. After watching her and checking out the lump yesterday and today I have decided to have it looked into now. She goes in Thursday.

The past 2 days she hasn't been eating properly. I partly attribute this to the moronic way she is being fed (off a fork), and I have protested and fought with my Dad about this, he won't relent.

The other problem is that Roxie is still somewhat timid. She can hang around while the dishwasher is being stacked now, something that used to send her running, but my sister, her two kids and husband are here now and I think she's stressing. They're loud and the 4yo is rough.

So Thursday morning she goes in, her teeth will be cleaned at the same time (because it was only $60 difference) and I'm looking for accommodation for us for Thursday and Friday night just for a bit of a break.

    Hi Juce,

Fingers crossed for you and Roxy. I hope you have some time off away from those people, too.
I love cooking but I love eating even more.

Sending lots of good health vibes. I am sure she will be ok.

Glad you decided to get it checked out Juc. Fingers and paws crossed here as well that it comes back with nothing major.

    Thanks for the well wishes

She had the biopsy done today. At the moment she's snuggling next to me, still dopey but hungry. I'm waiting for the boys to go to bed and I'll take her out and give her some food.

She's certainly grumpy, Jacks and Jackson haven't been allowed near her.

I spoke to another vet at the practice who said that he has seen this type of thing before, but no one else had had it tested so he wasn't positive as to what it is. He thinks it might be an ulcer type legion. The results should be back early next week.

Until we get the results, it's a warm bed, soft food and a quiet household
