My dog is mainly on the leash although gets to have a run in the paddock 2 times a week. He enjoys a free run

My dog is on the leash except for at parks. Although sometimes I let her walk beside me on the path once she has burned some energy

Mine are most of the time off leash, except in required areas.

I have only had my dog for 3weeks and she is so overwelmed when we go out she cannot be off leash yet.
When she comes when I call her she will be off leash (where she is allowed to be)
Walks are so exciting for her atm she is so distracted smelling everything to listen to me.

It takes time for your dog to get use to you and respond to your requests i wouldnt be letting her off for a while.

I actually took her to a beach she could run on today and she was off leash. She was pretty good. It was pretty windy and she couldn't always hear me to come but she turns around and comes back when she realises shes a bit far away.
    Shes improving everyday.
