    Talking So Proud :D

We had assessments this morning. I decided to give it a try, more like a practice run so I knew exactly what was going on for next week, and could also work with Rox for any little things that needed fixing.

She passed!!!! She behaved so well, and I am so proud of her. We have moved up 4 levels in 6 months and she has improved so much.

I have no idea what to expect next week in master class, but I really am thrilled she got there. She has changed so much since we first got her, a complete 180.

I can't stop smiling, and tonight I am baking her a huge cake, as well as extra tummy rubs!!

Congratulations!!!! She must be proud of you as well because she would not have come this far without you. Keep up the good work....and thumbs up for the cake!!

    Congrats.

Pardon my ignorance but what are "assessments", what sort of training?

I know they have "instinct tests" in herding...

And my (obedience) club has graduation, once a month (or twice if you go in the morning and again in the afternoon). My dog would perform perfectly the week before, and then fail the graduation, and somehow pick up "most improved".

Now it's hard to remember what a wild puppy she was, she's so much better.

Thanks Jxjxz! It's been a bit of work for the both of us, but mostly her

Hya, the assessment is like an exam to pass you to the next level. It's a combination of things, but it's all general obedience.

Big congrats to you and Rox.

I'm 100% sure it comes down to hard work, good timing, consistency ect.

    You deserve it!!!

    Thanks guys.

We had cake last night, she loved every mouthful. I made chocolate self saucing pudding, but I use carob instead of chocolate because it's yummier. She scoffed hers, then came to me wanting more!! There was also lots of ear rubbing and tummy rubbing later on.

Now we just have to anxiously wait for what is in store next week! It's great, but we'd made so many friends in the other class too, it will be sad not seeing them.

    Congratulations

Obedience can be like a disease , you keep aiming higher and higher and wanting to do more and more

We go at least once a week and often twice, I love it, hubby loves it and the dogs love it.........

Newsfie, is the training for both hubby and dogs? LOL. I wish I could take my parents to obedience school!
