Well Barney is a freaker outter when he sees other dogs. If we are walking on lead and he sees another dog, he goes batty. barking and squealing. Its horribly embarrassing. Yes bring a dog round our house and he's perfectly fine. I think he just gets really exited but when hes on lead it has the potential to become aggression.

Pippi on th eother hand is just plain dog aggressive. She will attack anything..she has tiny dog syndrome big styles. Also embarrassing

Yea its horrible. I usually walk Barney at night when noone is around so I dont have to deal with it because he weighs 40kgs and is hard to control when he gets in a state.

I walk Pippi during the day but she is only 6 kilos so when she goes berserk she is fairly easy to control LOL

My dogs sound awful...they are lovely LOL

We went to a photoshoot on Sat though and the next dog showed up 10 minutes early. So my dogs were just at the door. That was the end of their photo session. They just stared at the bottom of the door, with Barney whining coz he could hear the other dog.

We left out the back entrace so as to not create a scene LOL

i think like with any sort of club, everyone has their own reason for joining.... im part of a few car clubs (4x4's) and while some of the people in the club have stock cars with no intention of modifying them, they enjoy seeing what the nutters of the clubs get up to, competeing, building bigger and bigger cars, seeing what they are capabel of doing etc....im sure dog clubs are the same, so long as you have a common interest i think they are an excellent place to chin wag about whatever it is your club is involved with.

We walk Chookie after dinner. Sometimes it is good to know I am not the only one with a DA dog. Perhaps we can make A Naughty Dog Club in this forum. What do you think?
I love cooking but I love eating even more.

We go to agility and flyball.

These have been great for Johnny because he was pretty frightened of other people and dogs to start with. Now at flyball he greets everyone and their dogs. Has been a wonderful experience for the both of us because we train with some lovely people (social for me too!) and dogs.

The training part has been good too – He is far more responsive since we started.
Plus I know he enjoys it. He hates leaving!

But I have heard not all clubs are good – some are too strict (we let the dogs off leash after training – not everyone does) and some are too political. I think it pays to do some research or at least try before you commit to a club.

We go to Parramatta flyball and agility. Great group

Have you been to Cafe Bones? It is one of my favourite dog places in Sydney.
