    How old is Tia? Mines still quite young so not sure if she's old enough but am keen to try!

    She is 21 weeks, started teaching her at 15 weeks, we have a bloke who trains dogs for the RAAF etc at her puppy school and he gave us those tips! He reckons get them going as soon as you have the basics down like sit etc

    Haha no mate first time I've done this with a dog, first dog I have had of my own but I always grew up around them!

    Haha well Kaida's almost 20 weeks so I'll give it a shot, being a girl I'm not sure how keen I am about the sweat part though
    She has 'found' three dead rats for me this past week (well two slightly alive), just sits, circles and barks at them until I come out and I know her sense of smell is amazing... very excited to try!

    Wow, what an incredible talent of your dog! After reading this I tried it with my kelpie... He uses his sight more than his nose though. Do you think this would work with any breed?

    I think your kelpie can do it, it takes different amounts of if time with different dogs, every dog Is different, even if it's the same breed
