I might report a post I suspect is made for purely inflamatory reasons. And I sometimes ask - via report if it's an old familiar source. But I'm reluctant to do it directly. Much keener on the ignore function. It is often better to wait and see, especially when someone doesn't seem very familiar with nettiquette or relatively new to a particular forum culture.

I Dont know, I can get very defensive if I feel I am being attacked. Specially if its a subject I am passionate about!
