Definitely, and you would be surprised how many people come to groomers and ask for show clips anyway, even for their pets.
It's a big business, I don't know of any grooming businesses here that have failed.

well thats great to know. I would love to get into a mobile grooming franchise, have spoken to a few franchise companies about possibilities for the future and their options sound great. I would just love to be able to make a standard poodle ready for show! oh wow what an achievement!

as with anything though, despite my personal intelligence when it comes to animals ( wow now thats an ego! ) ) to be "recognized" as having some sort of intelligence we have to start at the lower courses. Which is what I am studying now with my pet care and grooming course, this course teaches me th fundamentals of grooming, pet care, anatomy and the handling of different animals by personality not breed.
I am finding this course very easy, however, I need this course to proceed into higher more challenging courses. I want my certificate in animal husbandry, and also I would love to do a cert in dog handling. My main goal is to have the skills and knowlegde for the grooming industry but I would love to do them all. Nothing wrong with having alot of certifications in the animal industry!
