I don't know what you mean by professional opinion, but I'd say mastiff cross.

I'd hazard a guess that he may have boxer in him too.

Not that it matters what he is. He's gorgeous!

The only way to get an actual 'professional' opinion would be to do a dna test but even those are hit and miss. A friend of mine got her pedigreed border collie tested and it came back as part chihuahua so who knows!

With that nose definitely some boxer in him. Maybe bullmastiff or staffy also but absolutely has boxer in him.

I wouldn't worry too much though e is a bitza and he could be any mix of 2 or more dogs.

    Gorgeous boy though!

Why is there so much fascination these days with what breeds are in cross bred dogs? It's a cross bred. It could have any breed in him. Does it really matter?

It hard to tell by that pic, but I would say he is several generations of mix breeds starting perhaps with Boxer or Mastiff.. he looks like he could be a large dog when finished growing... I would make sure you are feeding him a diet with this in mind...
