Default Anyone Read Richard F. Stratton Book About APBT?

Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone has read anything by Richard Stratton, and if so what do you think of his ideas on the origins of the APBT, it's different to what is common knowledge, but it also kinda makes sense. what do you reckon?

I've seen atleast 2 books by him(only own/read one), I've got one he published in1976(or there abouts I think) and he talks about how the APBT isn't a cross of bull dog and terrier, but the descendant of the original bull dog. he looks at the paintings of the time rather than the literature(which he believes can be unreliable) he has a lot to discuss on this and he does make sense, really changed my perspective.

Choppachop if you have the same book you would know what I'm talking about it is called "this is the american pit bull terrier" and on the cover is a boy with a white and tan bitch. got alot of pictures of the old dogs too which is good.

Kimbastaff - it's worth looking for, good read, I think it's the only book I have read twice in my entire life.

    what do you guys think???
